10 Affirmations For Your Health and Fitness Goals
Who do you turn to for inspiration? Is there particular music, or a person, or maybe a quote that really motivates you? Well, what if we told you that you could be your most significant source of motivation! So much of succeeding at something is believing that you can do it. You have the power to manifest your own positive outcomes, and it starts with self-talk.

No matter your goals, we want to help you get there. Positive thoughts turn to positive actions that lead to positive change. It might not feel natural at first, but saying kind things to yourself out loud can completely change your mood. It’s not enough to just think them in your head where there’s a chance other distracting thoughts can cloud them.

Try standing in front of the mirror for even just a minute every morning and pick at least one affirmation to say to yourself out loud. Repeat it to yourself. You may crack a smile or even giggle, but if you keep going, you will notice yourself starting to think more positively. “Fake it ‘til you make it” was so last year. Let’s believe it until we achieve it!

Here are 10 positive affirmations that you can tell yourself to stay motivated:

I don’t exercise for anyone but myself. I am strong, I am capable, and I can do anything I set my mind to.

I choose to celebrate the things my body CAN do instead of focusing on the things it can’t do, YET.

I move my body because I can. I move my body because I want to. I honor my body by exercising.

I will not bring the stresses of my life into my workout. My exercise is for me, and it’s a place to clear my mind.

There is nothing I can’t accomplish, only things I haven’t accomplished yet.

Step by step, rep after rep, I will achieve my goals!

When I feel good, I look good. Today, I choose to feel amazing, and I look INCREDIBLE!

There are no failures or setbacks in my journey. There are only speed bumps on my road to success.

I exercise to feel great, and it feels great to exercise.

I love my body for all the amazing things it can do and for all the wonderful places it will go.

We hope these affirmations will help you realize your potential. Remember that fitness, health, and building confidence are marathon’s, not sprints. You must be kind to yourself every day and give yourself grace. It’s ok to miss a day at the gym. It’s not the end of the world to eat pizza. You are not less than for the choices you make. You are human, and you are doing your best. If you think of positive thoughts, they will yield positive results. You can do anything you set your mind to; you just don’t have to do it all today. Savor, the journey, and the finish line will be so much sweeter.
